I must have bought 6-10 drones over 7-8 years before purchasing these and I was still pleasantly surprised.Low key, no maintenance, no hassle, don't break as easily as some of the more expensive stuff. It really should have been the first drone I bought.I would not sweat it about not being able to fly it outside as that just leads to less time spent using them. Indoors you use them more and it didn't scratch a single piece of furniture due to its protective bumpers.Watchout if you have long hair! It's sensors cannot stop it quick enough if it goes past you and long flowing harit will get sucked in and tangled. It happened and it hurts. That was the only accident with these drones that occurred at my place. My kid hated that it did not have a remote or a camera and couldn't do a the things other drones can do but he came around and uses these more than any other drone. Loves these two now because we can actually play together and try to make them collide with each other ??
